Our beautiful day will start in Siena, famous for its splendid examples of Gothic architecture and the Palio horse race. Be impressed by the imposing Cathedral, one of the finest achievements of Italian Gothic.
After Siena, you can relax while we are crossing the beautiful Chianti hills, we will arrive in San Gimignano, famous for its white wine, the world renowned Vernaccia, and its medieval towers, also declared a World heritage Site by UNESCO! The visit is free for independent sightseeing, strolling around the narrow streets and admiring the relaxing landscape. San Gimignano also is home to the ice cream shop that won 2 world championship as best Gelato in the world, here you can enjoy the famous flavor made with saffron.
After San Gimignano we will be heading in a beautiful boutique winery dating back to the 1500 to enjoy Chianti Classico wines, (by selecting the private tour option lunch is also included). Here you will also visit the wine cellars and learn all the secrets of wine production in a small group tasting room.
Last stop is the Medieval hilltop gem of Monteriggioni, with its beautiful walls. Here you can enjoy the history and relive the atmosphere of olden times, while enjoying breathtaking views.
