You will also see the an amazing Fortress dating back to 14th Century discovering the fascinating history of this suggestive town.
Before arriving in Pienza you will see the UNESCO valley of Val d'Orcia where the Gladiator Movie scene was filmed and considered to be the most beautiful hills in the world.
Next stop will be the picturesque town of Pienza and val d'Orcia with impressive landscape to admire and the “Touchstone of Renaissance Urbanism.” Considered an artistic jewel of the landscape of Val d’Orcia, Pienza is a perfect combination of architectural beauty and harmony. Most of the lanes bearing impressive names overlook the breathtaking landscape of the Val d’Orcia. Unique smells and flavors are entwined with this natural and artistic heritage. Pienza’s most renowned tradition is Pecorino cheese.
