Continuing we reach an area that contrasts incredibly with the Chianti territory, immersed in the green Val d'Orcia, UNESCO heritage, a harmonious landscape of hills dotted with cypresses, interrupted by castles, churches, ancient villages of Etruscan origin and farms that accompany the route of the famous "Via Francigena".

Once arrived in Montalcino, you will enjoy lunch at a family-owned boutique winery, where you’ll be served organic local products like pecorino cheese, fresh pasta and extravirgine olive oil paired with one of Italy’s most prestigious red wines: Brunello di Montalcino . Frequently ranked among the best wines in the world by Wine Spectator, Brunello offers a unique tasting experience. From the winery, you’ll also be able to admire breathtaking views of the Val d’Orcia and soak in the romantic Tuscan countryside.

Before reaching Pienza, we will pass through the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia, whose rolling hills—considered among the most beautiful in the world—provided the backdrop for iconic scenes in the film Gladiator.

Next stop will be the picturesque town of Pienza and val d'Orcia with impressive landscape to admire and the “Touchstone of Renaissance Urbanism.” Considered an artistic jewel of the landscape of Val d’Orcia, Pienza is a perfect combination of architectural beauty and harmony. Most of the lanes bearing impressive names overlook the breathtaking landscape of the Val d’Orcia. Unique smells and flavors are entwined with this natural and artistic heritage. Pienza’s most renowned tradition is Pecorino cheese.
